My girls and I made a less-threatening model of the horrifying, legendary KRAKEN for their cousin Claudia. It was a BIG HIT!!
The octopus pan, made by Nordic Ware, was purchased at Williams Sonoma and it comes with a recipe and instructions for best results. Our cake sits atop a pile of brown sugar and is decorated with Sour Straws, Mini M&M's and Sweet Tarts Smarties.

This is such a darling cake! We also have a sandcastle cake pan- you should post pictures of that one!
